Keep it sweet & simple, baby!


So, you just need to do this.

Don't buy syrup for your coffee - make it, instead. It tastes better, is uber-easy and cheaper.

The ratio is 2:1, 2 cups sugar to 1 cup water. Heat in a heavy saucepan on the stove until the sugar dissolves. Add any type of flavoring you like (1-2 tsp extract flavoring). You could make a minty syrup with peppermint extract for tea, nutty syrup for coffee or simple syrup for mixed drinks.

So little effort to make you feel so pampered. Oh, and this syrup works great with iced tea, as well. No more sugar sludge at the bottom of your glass of beautiful iced tea!

The cruets are easily found for a song at Walmart or other general stores, like Target.
